The music industry has been turned upside down over the past twenty years. Gone are the days when fans would buy a band's entire CD. Record sales have been replaced with downloads and streams. Now, record labels want a piece of every revenue stream a band produces to make up for the decrease in album sales created by the digital world we live in.
